| In 1931, Franklin County, Virginia, Forrest Bondurant legend is immortal, having survived the war. Together with his brothers Howard and cowardly Jack Bondurant family distillery and has a business piracy. When a corrupt District Attorney Mason Wardell Franklin comes from unscrupulous special deputy Charles rake, Bondurant family refuses to pay the required bribe to the authorities. Rake chase brothers and unsuccessfully trying to find his distillery. Meanwhile, Forrest hires waitress Maggie, a woman with a hidden past in Chicago, and they fall in love. Jack courts preachers daughter Bertha Minnix and alcohol causes a huge load of alcohol with a powerful gangster Banner Floyd. Jack Franklin gifts attracts a rake, which is the location of the distillery. When the paste is killing the paralyzed cricket, residents join forces to confront a corrupt government. |
